This life and all the things which we use during the coarse, materialistic or non- materialistic from the process of our first breath in this world to huge mansions, from our own self to each and every person of family and clan, is a trust given to us by ALLAH subhana wa ta ala.
All these things which we think as our possession is actually not all ours. These have been given to us for a limited period as a test. The true owner of all these things is the one who made them, the only creator ALLAH. He will take these things back whenever He wills.
ALLAH has said in the Holy Quran:
“And it is He who has made generation after generation, replacing each other on the earth. And He has raised you in rank, some above others that He may test you in what He has bestowed on you. Surely your lord is swift in inflicting punishment. And certainly He is forgiving most merciful (Al –Anaam: 165)”<br>
We all boast about Allah’s love, but shouldn’t the gift given by a love, but
Shouldn’t the gift given by a loved one be adorable to us? Shouldn’t we take care and protect them so as to make its owner happy? In order to express the love to our creator we should love His creation. Especially those whom we are connected with some or the other relationships. Love your kins because they are Allah’s trust with you and to make Allah happy.
“So give to the relatives his due and to the poor (needy) and wayfarer.
This is the best way for those who seek Allah’s goodwill. Such alone will attain true success” (Ar-rom: 38)
But alas the reality that we are only trustee and not the owner slips from our mind and therefore when the owner take away his things instead of being grateful we become sad, ungrateful and in the state of shock. This is our short coming our mistakes our forgetfulness.
Allah has said:
“Everyone is going to taste death and we shall make a trial of you with evil and with good. And to us you will be returned” (AL-Anbiya: 35)
Allah has described the attitude of guided ones:
“who when afflicted by calamity say: Truly! To ALLAH we belong and truly to Him we shall return’. They are those on who are the blessings from their lord and they receive, His mercy and it is they who are the guided ones.”(AL-Baqara: 156-157).
May Allah include us among the guided ones.
