Obstacles put in the way of addressing the Ummah's problems and solution
The Prophet (saaw), Sahabah (RA), and Khulafahs (RA) used to address the Muslim Ummah on
Friday Khutbahs with the most vital issues facing the Ummah in its struggle against the kuffar to
spread the deen and rule of Allah (SWT). In fact, the masjid of the Prophet (saaw) were the
headquarter of the Islamic State where ruling decisions and jihad orders were initiated.
Unlike the clergymen who talk strictly about "spiritual" and "personal moral values" in their weekly
prayers, the teachings of Islam were applied in public and taught efficiently through a
comprehensive educational system using the tools and resources of the Islamic State. The Muslim
Ummah and its leadership understood and executed their responsibility throughout the history of
the Islamic State practically.
Today, the once powerful Muslim Ummah unfortunately has been torn into 46 separate states.
Instead of having one State ruled by a Khalifah who is given a bay'a (oath of allegiance) to rule by
Quran and Sunnah, we have 46 rulers who are puppets for the West. It is of no surprise that none of
these rulers address the Ummah in Khutbahs since all of them have usurped the authority of the
Ummah. These rulers prevent sincere Muslims in initiating a stand in addressing the Ummah in
Khutbahs with the vital issues. The separation of Islam from life has been institutionalized; Islam is
no longer applied comprehensively on the Muslims. Rather it has been reduced to a ministry of
religious affairs which takes care of masajids where the khutbahs are strictly monitored and only
spiritual and personal Islamic morals are addressed.
In the Western World where these governments have limited authority sincere Khateebs who talk
about the untold part of Islam are prevented. All too often Muslims are reminded that Islam is
separated from life's affairs by imposing on them the image of a clergymen who address morals and
personal Islamic behavior to the extent that many fall asleep during the khutbah! It seems that
Muslim khutbahs are no different from the sermons the Jews and Christian who attend their weekly
prayers to listen to their clergymen, wearing certain outfit, addressing strictly spiritual and personal
issues.
Unfortunately, many generations of Muslims have lived under secular governments since the
elimination of the Khilafah in 1924. The influence of this separation of Islam from life is so severe
to the extent that when sincere Muslims manage to address the vital issues affecting the Ummah,
many Muslims complain by saying that politics should not be addressed in the khutbahs.
The only way the Kuffar have been able to overpower the Muslims is through spreading non
Islamic concepts. This weakness and exhibiting not having the inability to confront Islam
ideologically or materially. The kuffar use their puppet rulers in the Muslim world to impose their
form of Islam on the Muslims through education, media, and the paid scholars.
We should not wonder why the kuffar and their puppets impose a new form of Islam propagated in
the khutbahs, which is strictly spiritual, dealing with personal relationships only. All of this
censorship is done to conceal the truth which will wake the Ummah upto the reality of Islam. The
reality being a comprehensive political and global goal whose objective is to establish the deen and
the rule of Allah all over the world.
He it is who has sent His Message with the guidance and the true deen to make it overcome over all
other deens even if the kuffar detest it.
The kuffar will always accept us as long as we are slaves for their deen (way of life). And we will
always stay slaves until we reject their form of Islam. The Prophet (saaw) said " You are a guard on
one of the guarding spots of Islam so do not let Islam be attacked successively from your guard
point." We have to wake up to know our Islam and the conspiracies planned against it and
consolidate our efforts with the Islamic movements who have taken the responsibility of
reestablishing the deen of Allah as ordered by Him.
