The pattern of violence in Iraq is constantly increasing and the Kuffar continue to stoke up the sectarian strife between the brothers in Aqeedah. The objective of the Kuffar is to lure the Muslims of Iraq towards reaching a conviction of the necessity to divide the country along ethnic and sectarian lines due to the spiralling cycle of violence and to put in motion what the constitution stipulates in terms of federalism. Several statements have been made by some sectarian leaderships referring to the necessity to proceed towards establishing the federal state in the south, while a number of traps are laid in order to goad other leaderships towards declaring an “Islamic state” in the Sunni areas. The Kurdish leaderships are pursuing a leading role that constitutes an example to follow for the other Iraqi leaderships when proceeding towards federalisation, and they are even preparing to attain what is closer to declaring an independent Kurdish state. All these steps are examples of the progress towards the objective designed by America to turn Iraq into a federation of several provinces that will be prone to becoming new states once a host of hard to surmount obstacles are placed between the Muslim people of Iraq. The Kirkuk file has been put on the agenda in order to bolster the progress towards federalisation. The recent events in Kirkuk, such as the meeting of the Arab tribal chiefs in the city and the simultaneous bombings are but a prelude to compelling the Kurds to accept a compromise on the future of Kirkuk, which they insist on making a part of their federation. The Kurds may be threatened with the Turkish army under the pretext of protecting the Turkomans in Kirkuk and pursuing the PKK whose cells have recently undertaken some military activity, a matter whose implications were perceived by the Kurdish chieftains, thus prompting a flurry of statements alluding to their readiness to act on behalf of the Iraqi state and under the pretext of protecting the borders of Iraq against the PKK and its operations, thus thwarting what the Turks may use to justify their military intervention in their areas.
